Here is my 2012 Etsy Christmas Treasury! So many pretty things to buy and to start you motivated to decorate for Christmas.

I decorate on 1 December so I will put up photos of our place shortly. I adore Christmas so be ready for it.

When visiting with my niece Charlotte the other day she loved being a tiger … sadly I was the deer (i.e. dinner). Saw this and thought of her. If only it were pink, orange will clash with her very pink lifestyle.

This was too gorgeous not to share. He looks like our Rory and I just love his little red bow. This cat was my favourite but I did love this, this and this one too. Have a look around to see if there is something on the store perfect for the little girl (or you) in there.
Grab your own coin purse black and white cat on red gingham from Oktak.
Gorgeous, just gorgeous! Gosh these look pretty in a tree but I could totally see them hanging in a little girls bedroom. I am a firm believer that bunting in all its forms makes things a little bit special. Be prepared Richard there will be bunting in our children’s rooms.

Given my obsession with owls and that I own an iPhone 4G I just had to share. Not sure how practical this would be when you are holding the phone but it does look pretty.
I actually have the necklace that they have used here. Pretty sure I got it at Diva so you could make one yourself, though probably not for under $10.

I missed the Sydney markets in June and if we hadn’t just been away I would be begging Richard for us to get on a plane to Brisbane for this weekends Finders Keepers markets. If you are in the area why not head on over to The Old Museum, Cnr Bowen Bridge Road & Gregory Terrace, Herston. 10am – 4pm Sat 7 and Sun 8 July.
Isn’t that image amazing!!!! Designed by Amy Borrell over at Cake With Giants. Is it just me or would that make an amazing tattoo? It could work, I love that story.

With only four months until the wedding we are now working on the stressful fun little details that go into making the wedding special and personal.
I love this idea for a wishing well. When we buy our first home I like the idea that something from our wedding day will come with us.

Classic image of the royal wedding taken in a specific artistic direction. Then you start to notice all of the little details, like their names in their skin. Personally I think this is one of the nicer pieces of memorabilia (if you can call it that) though it would need to go with other things you have in the room. Memorabilia is always hard to get right, you want something to remember the moment but it needs to be something that you would actually want in your home. A rare combination, which is why we don’t have any in our home.
Today is ANZAC Day. On this day we commemorate the landing of Australian and New Zealand tropps at Gallipoli on this day in 1915. Although the date was really about the original landing this is more than just those who served on that beach, we remember all those who have served Australia during war.
My childhood memory of the Gallipoli story is one of courage but also of what can happen when leaders get it wrong. The Gallipoli Peninsula is this skinny little beach and the opposing troops were entrenched in the hills when the ANZACs arrived. The story as I remember it was that the generals realised we were on the wrong beach but it was too late and we stayed too long. I remember old people from when I was a kid saying that you shouldn’t just listen to those in charge, you should stop and think about what they ask. Now, I realise that this is easier said than done but there is some wisdom in the idea of listening to what those in charge say and asking questions.
Find out more about ANZAC Day here, here, here, here and here. One day I would like to be in Gallipoli for an ANZAC Day dawn service, one day.

More great crafts from mooo.com.au (soon to be tinyme), this time for ANZAC Day. I think these are a really lovely way to share the story
